The International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (CBAS) opened a two-month thematic exhibition at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France, on July 16, 2026, showcasing how Earth observation, artificial intelligence, and big data can support the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Centered on the Digital Sustainable Development Goals Programme (DSP), the exhibition presents the Programme's latest technologies, applications, and achievements in advancing sustainable development.

Featured exhibits include applications of the SDGSAT-1 satellite and Big Earth Data-based monitoring and assessment of seven Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 2, Zero Hunger; SDG 6, Clean Water and Sanitation; SDG 7, Affordable and Clean Energy; SDG 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG 13, Climate Action; SDG 14, Life Below Water; and SDG 15, Life on Land.

The exhibition also highlights digital technologies for the conservation and management of natural and cultural heritage.

Held alongside the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development Global Conference hosted by UNESCO, the exhibition drew interest from government representatives, international organizations, researchers, and other stakeholders from around the world.
