INRAE Delegation Visits AIRCAS to Deepen Research Collaboration

On October 10, Philippe Mauguin, CEO of the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE), led a delegation to the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (AIRCAS) in Beijing.

The delegation toured the AIRCAS exhibition hall and the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals before holding talks with Zhang Bing, Deputy Director-General of AIRCAS.

Zhang welcomed the visit and said AIRCAS looked forward to expanding cooperation with INRAE in remote sensing and water resources management. Mr. Mauguin expressed hope for closer collaboration and continued joint research in sustainable water management.

Officials from the French Embassy in China, the Bureau of International Cooperation of CAS and researchers from both sides attended the meeting.
