French Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Experts Visit AIR

On April 6, 2023, six French experts in the field of atmospheric environment monitoring visited the National Engineering Research Center for Satellite Remote Sensing Applications with the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
Idris SANHAJ, a representative of French Cimel company, gave a presentation on gas composition spectral analysis technology, fully automated solar spectrophotometers, meteorological stations, LiDAR, and other fields. Prof. LI Zhengqiang from AIR introduced the development of the Sun-sky radiometer Observation Network and discussed with French experts the development in calibration and sampling measurement of sun photometer, and the integration of atmospheric parameter data processing software.
After the meeting, Idris SANHAJ and Laura MARIT visited the Optical Calibration Laboratory and the Beijing Atmospheric Environment Quality Monitoring Super Station.
The French company and Prof. LI’s team have maintained long cooperation in the field of atmospheric environment.
