AOGEO 2020 Workshops

Asia-Oceania Group on Earth Observations (AOGEO) takes great responsibility in coordinating different stakeholders and activities that focus on regional needs and promote GEO Engagement Priorities in Asia-Oceania region.

AOGEO workshop (formerly International AOGEOSS Conference) provides a forum for Asia-Oceania region to exchange scientific and technical views on Earth observations and their applications, and for the global community to learn the progress of AOGEO.

• The 3rd Asia-Oceania Group on Earth Observations (AOGEO) Workshop (or 3rd AOGEO Workshop) is the very first workshop after AOGEOSS officially become AOGEO, and will focus on integrating data, method, knowledge of Asia-Oceania region for regional challenges, and scaling down global GEO’s new topic to regional level. (Oct 27-31, Changzhou)
• The 2020 International Training Workshop on Earth Observation for Sustainable Development in Developing Countries (or 2020 International Training Workshop) will focus on knowledge spread and experience exchanging on certain domains in 2-week courses, in order to promote capacity building for access, analysis and application EO data in AO region, especially developing countries. (Oct 18-30, Beijing)
